Maf Position On Turboed Cars

Has anyone put the MAF on the compressor side of their turboed tib?

as opposed to what? the exhaust side!? lol do you mean in the charge or what?

my friend who has a turboed tib put the maf on the compressor side as opposed to the intake side.
i was just wondering cause i dont see it often.

whos your friend? and why isnt he on here?

You can do it, its much less of a headache if you dont, as long as you recirculate there arent really any down sides to having the MAF before the turbo as opposed to after

its preciousfibres.. hes here but not here alot..

hes got the maf on the compressor side and no problems.. i just don't know why many people have done it.. and what the pros and cons would be to have it on either side

I've heard though that once you get up to like 5-8 psi then the maf is going to start having issues being under pressure.

I actually had a thread about this a while back, let me go look.
