i couldint find the dyno he sent me a while back... must have been on my other cpu.

Im surprised he hasnt posted it..

WOW I just read this entire thread...WOW eyes are freaking out!!! First off I want to say congrats to MJ and Viper both because they both has put out some really nice numbers with cars that are considerd underdogs. You guys represent Hyundai really well and that helps all of us who arnt to the spot were you guys are. (Ill will be there VERRY VERRY SOON so watch out laugh.gif) But Im sure many of you know that Dynos are finicky there are so many variables that can make your numbers off or even wrong. I mean the Dyno itself can be a problem... For instance a Dyno Jet gives you HUGE numbers because it has no variablees you just spin the drums. Now there are other dynos that I can remeber the names of that add in your vehicle weight wind resistace rolling friction all lowering your numbers but making it more compariable to the streets. Im sure all of you know all of this but this also has to be brought into play. Now Ive seen MJs pictures of his setup and I have talked to him in chat before and he knows his shit...theres no way around it. Now Viper I havnt talked to you or seen any pics you have so I can not say anything about you. YEah the car posted in the vid. in the verry first thread was nice verry powerful and yeah you saw the camera pan around to the screen to show the chart...really doesnt mean anything. He could have been on a DynoJet throwing HUGE numbers and really only have 300-400 whp. I mean if you really want to get into people faking or lying about there numbers how do you know that guy didnt chop up that photo to change the numbers???? The onlyu way that you are going to see who has the most hp is to get the cars on the same dyno count in all the variables and just see what happens. But I do think that both of you have done very well for the Hyundai scene and have represented really well. If we could all follow in your footsteps exactly then Hyundai would own the street/strip. But the quote unqoute witch hunt is being taken a little far....Nothing car really be said at all untill pics and videos of both cars with REAL Dyno charts.

 

Yup, he did. He's got one dyno higher than that, but doesn't consider it REAL.

i cant find the scans of the sheet.... the laptop that i use to tune the car had them on it, but it was stolen out of the car months ago

the 389 WHP run was on 23psi and was really peaky, and it was on a dynojet it was actually kinda lame

my fiance was there so was her brother... the whole reason i havnt posted anything is because im keeping the dyno sheets private beacause of a beef i have with somebody locally

and gary... u need to STFU ive helped u soo many times at all odd hours with your setup and u come on here and try to call me out....
