Viper,

post up your 389WHP dyno graph......

LOL Good point. I've driven behind his car though, I belive it's got that and MORE. He's dyno'd higher but he uses the lower HP point.

Let the witch hunt began

THis isn't a witch hunt. I know Viper personally and he is right, he just wants to know your real #'s and how you've gotten there. He's an honorable guy and, while yes he wants to win the HP wars here, he also wants to further our tuning ability and understanding.

NO WITCH HUNT GUYS.

Cut it out Mr. Moderator. This isn't a witch hunt.

Until both folks post a verified Dyno, we have no proof of either but are going off the word of trusted members.

How bout you guys go get a dyno done and take a picture with a RDTiburon.com banner or written sign in front of it.

Yeah, its not a witch hunt Mad... we just want some dynos off your car, you put down more power than 99.9% of people on this site. Just a misunderstanding.

Stock pistons holding up 450?

I still wouldint risk it...

I believe the stock rods can last that long.. Onpol had close to 400 without any problems... All his were tranny related.

Speaking of HP wars.. i wonder where onpol is at now....

i really doubt that the stock pistons will last to 450 WHP.... thats just WAY too much for the 10.5:1 compression unless ur running race gas and even then thats really risking it

stock rods yea i can see lasting that long in a detonation free enviroment, but any detonation at aything other than TDC and ur bending a rod.... so i can see the stock rods lasting with non stock pistons... even hyper U's MAYBE but ur asking alot

good luck with that

this wasnt a witch hunt... this was me trying to see WTF i was missing in my setup that was allowing him to hit that mark, cuz i got a promotion and some new disposable income that i have been using to buy some parts lately and i wanted to see if it was some weird cam combo or what was going on.....

and WOW as a welder i cant imagine pie cutting alum.... and than welding it all together... that shit would get hot as hell and would take FOREVER

i wouldnt mind piecing together a u bend or two for alum piping... but i would annodize that stuff so it would look awesome

Red always said hitting the 600 comfortably, you would need nitrous...

Random was going to do the same... then he started looking into twin scrolled turbos..
Very nice, yet expensive turbos..

to get 600 WHP on a tiburon ur going to need @ least a t66 or t78 turbo and a water-air intercooler...

ull need some pretty agressive cams as well and it will be very spikey
