Yep, Nightshark's turbo/exhaust/seats.

Was planning on rebuilding my engine but financially I couldn't pass up this engine for $600, which probably has around $2500 worth of parts and work in it. It would cost me more than $600 just to reassemble my old engine with the machine work and all.

I think I'm nearing the middle lmao.gif

Here is the engine as of tonight. Ready to drop in, I'm just waiting for my oil pan with the return fitting to finally be done (favor's my ass, I could have paid $20 and had it done Monday), swap that on, and drop the motor in, hopefully this weekend.

I spent about 5 hours cleaning the engine bay/rad support, and grinding/painting rusted spots. I was never one for looks, but I doubt I'd have a chance at COTM without a clean engine bay haha.gif

I also want to state that I HATE THE GODDAMN THROWOUT BEARING!!! And I'm posting a DIY on throwout bearing removal.

Dropped the engine in, and got a ton of stuff done today, probably the only day I've had in this build where everything went to plan. Only snags were a couple of bolts for the oil pan were stripped, but easily re-threaded. Also after I got the engine in the bay I realized the front engine mount bracket was on backwards. after I fixed that and fastened the side mounts, I found I put on the rear roll stop mount backwards, so a quick drop of the cross member and everything was fixed. There were no real time consuming problems that had to be fixed.

I got the driver side axle in, but I have to take down my poor mans hoist before I can put the other axle in, and then I'm going to throw in the battery and start it up. Just waiting on the thermostat housing gasket from the dealer.

I can't believe I didn't have any real problems today, besides a few missing bolts that I'll pick up on Monday. I'm just amazed in how much I've learned since I bought my tib a few years ago.

Also, while searching for my wideband sensor, I saw that my cat left me a present on the passenger floor. I forgot him in the garage last night so he had to sleep there, and he took a shit in my car. f***er.

Regit, it doesn't matter how cold it is outside, I just turn show up at my parents place, turn the heaters on, go for a hot chocolate, and when I get back it's at least above freezing.

Eric, I'm hoping to have it up and running by the end of April, but who knows. I'm waiting for a t-stat gasket from the dealer just to start it, but I still have my MS to buy before I can bring it out for a ride.
