sweet info guys.

any opinions on the turbine outlet design and which one is better?

we can use the head flange from the eclipse correct? just like a hole to open up a bit or something right?

I made a thread about evo manifolds a while back, should be able to find it pretty easy. I think it was in this subforum.

I like the larger opening in relation to the seperate downpipes. But that's just me.

Its best to have a separate tube for the wastegate and merge them at least 8" downstream. This prevents the wastgate gas from colliding in to the turbine gas slowing it down creating lag.

my whole issue with that design on an integral wastegate turbo is that it is hard to separate the wastegate and turbine outputs. the 1st dump i showed up there has a little block that extends downward, but i doubt it does much in keeping the two streams isolated.

I'll be picking up my new downpipe this weekend and I'll post pics of it. A friend of mine is an excellent welder and we've been experimenting with a few designs. There's plenty of room in the RD and GK Tib to have a divorced wastegate tube.
