did you check the play of the turbo shaft?
check the horizontal and vertical play

yeah but now. .how is the play?
busted seal ,loose bearing can also make the turbo leak from the outside a bit
usually oil seam to leak from between the exhaust housing and the center section

I dont think you got a bad turbo, you just hooked up the oil feed line in the wrong place.... expensive lesson.

Dunno man, depends on the TC I think. You got a T3 super 60 no? If so, you might be able to get a new one fairly cheap.

I think the other larger ones might be easier/better to service as they are more expensive to but new. So the cost may be lower to replace seals and such.

Ye.... it's going to run ~300ish to rebuild it, which is about the price of a T3 Super 60 if thats what you run.
