Compressor Side Oil Leak
i dont think so, since it isnt leaking anymore. i beleive the seafoam just thinned the oil out so much that it was like water. so it was thinner than the seals on the turbo.

I'd check to see what the stock feed pressure is for the DSM's. they might not need to put restrictors on there, but you could still have to.
Dont think, "hey its been X amount of time and it hasnt blown yet." Sometimes it takes a few months before it blows man.

my feed line is coming from a sandwich plate on the oil filter.

so you dont have a restrictor?

no i dont. before i started the build, i was told the 14b turbo off the dsm did not need a restrictor. so i didnt put one on.

by whom?

quite a few dsm tuners
ok, that was fun... anyway. DO YOU HAVE A DSM? did you swap in a DSM motor? are you using a DSM feed line? my bet is that you have answered NO to all three questions.. the 14b isn't a special turbo that can handle that much pressure.
odds are you blew your seals already and you will see some more oil leaking and need a rebuild soon. thats why its stressed in any turbo thread on here, when people are setting up feeds to take oil from the head, or use a restrictor..
