yeah, i noticed that, too, jon. shad was telling me it's because the shipping is included. i think it's gay. usually, places show you the list price, then show you their price, so you can see how much you actually SAVE, not show you that they're charging the list price, then show you how much more they're charging for shipping.

Well, remember that KSPEC is run out of Korea and realitively new. They are also in the process of cleaning up the site (Taking alot of RICE off), fixing the prices and such.

The other thing is that KSPEC is mainly here to get us things we CAN'T get in the states. Some of it will be expensive.

Shipping on some items will be expensive. I'm trying to help find some ways to lower some of it for them too.

Lastly, to get payments converted to local currency they are loosing out on alot of money. Until they figure another way of going about it, then the prices will fall a bit again.

We are workin on it guys.

No i have to say that even though the standard prices seem a little expensive to what im used to seeing if the "your price" includes shipping they seem pretty good compared to what they cost as standard, hardly any extra at all. The only thing i would say is more info on the parts would be good, i meen even the cams on the second link dont state there purpose ie good for turbo let alone the full specs what is needed etc. "Hollow High Lift Cam Shaft 2.0 Beta Engine" isnt a massive amount of info

Is there any info that is more in depth on these and possibility of shipping to UK as a turbo cam is an obvious mod i am after. Hollow worries me but as these are made in the home of Hyundai mods i take it they can take a lot of stress as i also plan in the future removing the limiter and getting the engine reving a lot higher. I just have to save the cash as this will cost a fortune in balancing alone.

Any info is great.

Hmm, so I'll just pay them in Won, then.

I think hollow is good because there would be less rotating mas in the drivetrain allowing it to rev higher (or something). Is that really a cam for a turbo in mind?

Jon...if you're looking for cams for a turbo setup then you can always get the cam specs you want to use and buy UNmachined camshafts from hyundai and take them to a machine shop. You just give them your specs and they'll machine them for you. Considering the cost of SR.com's cams, it shouldn't be all that much more expensive if not maybe cheaper. Just use a "desktop dyno" program on your computer and it will calculate the best cam specs for you. Make sure and filter out anything over like a half inch because a 2.0liter beta motor might stall out with that high a lift. I hope this helps. You don't HAVE to buy cams from a performance distributor! This is what I'm planning on when I get my turbo.

More info is coming. The site is getting overhauled a bit and the US and Korean counterparts are working stuff out. Soon I should be able to answer alot of questions for ya'll.

As for shipping, all you need to do is go to their "Orderboard" and post what you are interested in and where it's being shipped to. They will contact you with the info.

They are trying... I don't think David and Matt were expecting this much of a response.
