Beta2 Alpine Supercharger

You have both pics up.. the middle is still with the PVC elbow.. but it works well to illustrate the difference between the two.. looking good!
uh oh... it looks fine on my pc... does anyone else have the same problem ? (ie.. do you still see the whilte elbow with the two blue couplings?)

Corky may be brilliant when it comes to turbos.. but he's on a crack boost high. I am after drivability first and foremost..
Good point Mad. Guess it is ultimately the choice of the owner/driver.
As for you Ford, good job I likey.
This is definitely a newb idea but what about fliipping the supercharger unit upside down to give you a chance to throw on an IC. Disregard if this is an impossiblility, but You could prolly setup a SMIC or something behind the tranny and vent air into it from beneath the car. confused.gif I dunno just thinking I guess.
I can't see flipping a supercharger upside down working, even then an intercooler behind the tranny with no cool ambient air would probably make you lose horsepower and make you detonate worse then if you didn't have one. You couldn't really hang it down past the tranny because you could bottom out on the intercooler, especially in the Tib.
The only way to run a type of intercooler is if you make the kit do this. This is what I been debating to save of money to do. Of course you know the tubing would be on the opposite side. Or how ever you wanted. Let me know if he link don't work. This is the kit for the miata by jackson racing.

the best way to possibly intercool the alpine unit would be to enlarge and rework the plenum beneath it and add a air to water intercooling system.
The problem with that is the amount a space that is needed. Then you need enough runner length for equal amount of charged air. You can do it but with the space required you would need a hood mod as well for the space needed. My s/c already hits the hood as it is.
so a SC doesnt add much HP to our cars? so what if i just wanted a small boost without going through all the trouble of a turbo and NOS? I just want a little extra. this of course after the basic bolt ons.
Superchargers are more trouble than nitrous... a 50 shot of nitrous is going to yield just as much as a $3000 Supercharger kit... and is a lot less of an install. If your not going to use it much... a 50 shot in a 10lb bottle could last months...
