It depends on what kind and size of supercharger you go with. A roots type supercharger could produce 20+ psi, but it would have to be fairly large, or driven via pullies very fast. Ditto for twinscrew superchargers.
Centrifugal SC's are basically half a turbo, so they can equal turbo's outputs.

awww Quebec, such a nice place to ride Hyundais, eh Denisst99 ?
Ballrub, if ever you come back up here, (hey the nicest girls in the world are up here!!!) get in touch with us at Club Hyundai Quebec and Club Tiburon Quebec, we would definitly be VERY interested in what Alpine could offer to us, AND we will be able to compare ,cost and effectiveness, with our 300 WHP turbo 2003 2.0L

Ok, so the latest with BallRub at Alpine:
There's been a few emails back and forth indicating my problems but nothing at the moment until he has a meeting with everyone at Alpine and Dastek to understand the situation.
I must say the people at Alpine are all very friendly but stil no solution was presented to rectify my problems. Hope to hear back from him once he has finished assessing the situation to determine whether or not it's a problem with the Alpine product.
If it is, he did say Alpine would subsidize the cost to have it retuned.
I'll post again as soon as I have a response from Alpine.

If Alpine has a US dealer now, can we get their turbo kit without overseas shipping and problems normally associated with it, and if so what are the prices? And if this is stepping on anyone's toes feel free to delete this post.

any inquiries about new products should be directed to our company (info@alpine-developments.us , or call [714] 379-8066). Plus, so as to keep a record of correspondence with any owners of our kits who have experienced problems, I would also ask that you contact us direct by e-mail.

Those are the words I've been hoping to hear for awhile now........he did say Alpine would subsidize the cost to have it retuned.
Lets all keep our fingers crossed!
Ok, guys. Your going to love this bit of news.
I just received an email from ballrub at Alpine and he is doing everything he can to help me out here. He is going to get my SuperCharger working for me whatever it takes!!
(That sounds sooo cool)
My tuning place is pretty far from me, but guess I'll do my part since Alpine has done there's. So I will be taking a trip to Calgary soon to have my car tuned as soon as I hear back from ballrub as to the person I should be dealing with in Calgary.
Oh and after the tuning, I will have some Dyno results to show everyone.
Again, once I have confirmed everything and have a time and place I will re-update everyone.
Kudos! to ballrub and Alpine for their efforts and speediness regarding the situation.
