I'm looking at changing the code up, so I'll see what I can do to enhance some of the things in the Classifieds.

And just so everyone knows, this isnt being ignored. Its being discussed in great detail in the staff section.

I dont know if my opinion matters any since I havent put anything up for sale yet but i actually like the classifieds section more than a for sale forum. im not sure why but i like the layout and format of it much more. I dont have any problems seeing the newest stuff in them either because when i hit view new content, I start off with the classifieds, then blogs, then forums. Its not that hard to click on the tabs and see whats new for the day. Just my 2 cents.

Unfortunately, asking some people to click TWO things to see what they want is really asking too much.

In the meantime before a permanent solution is found for editing a classified ad, if you send me a PM containing:

Link to the ad

"A revised version of your ad within quotation marks"

I will do the edit for you. I know this is not an elegant solution, but it's the only way I can help right at this moment. There will be a permanent solution, but until then we can do this.

I havnt tried to sell anything so I cant comment on the seller side of things but as a buyer I am loving the set up in the classified section. It is way easier to see whats for sell, you can go directly to the type of part your looking for. The question and answer section is good but maybe some type of open dialoge if possible would be nice.

Hey guys, I am also not able to edit my post in the classifieds section. I'm getting a mix of PM and "unanswered questions" on the post. I do miss the old for sale style, when someone would post dibs, so others could see, and I could contact them on the side to get the transaction through. This classified method seems a step backwards, no one knows who had dibs and me not being able to update the post. oy vey.
