You want to log into my account and see what I'm talking about? I don't mind.

From the voting system is sad....28 members voted?

And also if you add Forum only voters like myself (8) plus forum and classified voters (7) you equal 15 votes which beats the 14 votes for classified only. The forum only voters wouldn't mind 2 sections as long as they get the forum option so it would make sense to combine the 2.

An Error Occurred

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

[#10924] Too much time has elapsed for you to edit this item.

It's NOT difficult. EDIT then COMPLETE edit. 2 buttons. I'm admin on 2 other forums and was admin before merger so I know how to use the forums thanks. I'm showing you all how it's NOT consistent.

Forget that the editing is busted for some, all my other points still stand.

The lack of conversation really does hurt the overall working of the Classifieds compared to the For Sale threads.

Example: After posting this I'm going to send Tanc a PM to ask if his hood is sold or still pending because I can't ask that question on the Classifieds without starting another new question line thing.

My only comments are:

- please don't have both systems!! For the transition period when there was the classifieds and for sale sections, I was visiting both, and that was time consuming. Whatever is decided, only have 1, PLEASE!

- it bugs me to not be able to see when a post was made (date/time). I don't mind that there's a "Time left" field, but I find that useless. I like to see when that post was made. That sometimes gives you some insight into the purchase.

Ya, I don't think it's time for this new classified. It has a lot of bugs and imperfections. I suggest we might want to wait for a better system to come out.

Let decide on something now. How long are we going to keep going on in this thread? Admins...go

You can use my account to troubleshoot the issue as well. After having some items in the classifieds for over a week now I've changed my tune. I definitely like the forum format better for a small(er) community such as this one.

I think if you have two ways to post items for sale, that it will be redundant. If people have not used the classifieds to search for items, then as soon as they see the for sale forum and the activity there I doubt they will give the classified section a second look. Also it looks like most people want AT LEAST the for sale forum, so the bulk of sellers will be using the for sale forum as well (hence even less people will use the classifieds). People who would sell in the classifieds would only be shooting themselves in the foot to exclusively sell items there, and why would you make two ads when you'll catch 95% of people in FS?

Classifieds section sounds great on paper but I wish we had FS back.

Is it possible to put the Classifieds and the forum threads in one basket so when someone clicks to view new content, the forums and classifieds both return hits on one tab?
