Tibby, do I only need to cut the power wire or do I need to do the ground too?
The only one I need to do is the multifunction switch right?

tibby01 maybe you and i could work out a deal--if you were interested in some sort of advertisement (ie: leds.biz, similar to the haloz one that chris had i suppose?) i am really advanced with computers/websites i could hook you up, it sure would make this whole process A LOT more organized than having people PM you and try to describe what it is they want.
lemme know what ya think

i suck at computers, and dont realy want this to turn into a business(atleast not right now). just a little side thing to get me some more money.</div>
How about reading the full thread? I've already mentioned the idea to him.

eh its understandable.
kind of a bump too i guess, but please, everyone who is pm'ing me with this stuff, could you send me an email to the addy listed in my sig instead? its just that, i would like to use my pm inbox as a mostly forum tool, and right now all i see when i open the inbox is LED everywhere...lol.
unless java wants to give us mods more pm room. wink.gif but i guess that was kinda the purpose of the email account. lol.gif

tibby01, i will pm you sometime next month so i can send you my gauges, even though you prob live less than 1 hour away from me lol tongue.gif
hey tiburonmoo the leds.biz idea came from your comment, don't you feel honored? eh i wasn't trying to tell him to open a business, i was telling him to open a website to make this more ORGANIZED because doing things on the forum/pm are just messy/complicated. my idea had nothing similar to your post. "i read the full thread" u big l33t
tibby, got my package today. (yeah its a sunday and im at work :-()
and yeah i see what you meant by being careful w/ the resistors.....
actually I need to sand or grind down a couple of the LED solder joints b/c they stick out more than the resistors. easy enough. also when i slipped the def. switch into the bracket it actually stripped one of the solder joints and resistor lead all the way down copper.....looks kina like a fossil i can see the copper from the lead IN the solder joint. ill just dab a bit more solder on it before i install the assembly. cant wait to get it and the heater controls in.
MAYBE......next weekend.
Thanks.

Tibby, the AC unit you did for me, one of the bulbs stopped workin this mornin.
What should I do?
It was the Fresh Air/Recirc button, the fresh air side.

was it one of the two activation leds on that switch(in other words, NOT the power light)?
if you want to send it back to me ill fix it right up. before you do though, what exactly is the purpose of that second led? i dont have one on mine. does it just come on whenever the recirc switch is pushed, or does it have its own certain time that it comes on?
tibwrc, even with the solder joints, it should have been ok. i stuck each of the switches in before i sent them, w/out any problems. you almost have to push down a little on the switchand only allow a couple millimeters of travel before it hits your thumb(that you are using to push down with).
