Default Re: Springs and Struts?

just so we dont clutter up that guys thread with shipping details, i'll make up a thread for all the crap that i can do, and you guys can chat all you want here.

in a little bit ill be doing a cluster for alpha male. ill be sending him a temp replacement(which is actually kinda cool too) while i work on his. with the stock cluster, i can do this....

any color needles(even mix and match diff. colors with diff. needles)
any color faces/tick marks(i can mix colors on these too, to a certain extent)
any color indicator lights(whatever colors you want)

i can do each one of those for 40 dollars, except the tick marks. i gotta make those 50. if you got everything, id prolly lower the price down a bit too.

if you have white face gauges, i can definately do the needles the same, but i dont think i'd be able to change the color of the faces without being very hesistant about messing up someones faces that they paid for. it depends on the faces as far as the indicator lights go, but it should work for mos tof them. i know i could change the color of the indicator lights with the sr white face gauges.

then with thte other stuff, i can put whatever color led into whatever switch you want. the only things left red in my car are the hazard switch and courtesy lights, which if all things go well, will be changing soon.

because everything is different, write me an email with exactly what you want and ill figure out a price for it.

you can look at my sig for little bits of what ive done.

here they are bigger...

what that above looks like from the back

and as soon as you guys see the gauges i made for jaws, you'll flip. ask redz, the things are bad ass. probably the best set of gauges ive ever seen for a tib. i was sad to send them away.

***EDIT***

for anyone who wants to buy leds and try there own things, i can sell some excess blue 5mm ones that i have...

i can sell you some 5mm blue leds for 1.00 a peice. i have TONS they would come with a resistor allready soldered in and heat shrunkm, ready for 12V. i also have some wire taps so that you dont have to strip wires to get power or ground. 75 cents for each of those. the leds look like this pic except the gound lead has heatshrink around it too. the power lead has blue heat shrink around it. if you want to get the leds to disperse light at a wider angle, just sand or chip the top down flat. then whatever shipping is.

i can include 10ft. of blue 18ga wire for 2.50 dollars with it. i also have led holers. with these, you can drill a .25" hole anywhere and mount an led in it. these are 50 cents each.

when you connect the leds up, take the exposed part of the blue lead, bend it in half(or more, just make sure it doesnt stick out of the crimp terminal) and stick it in the connector for the power wire(refer to picture). then, crimp it down HARD to make sure you have a good connection. then just find a power wire and squeeze it into the little groove on the metal peice in the connector. you can do this with pliers, but a crimping tool would work best.

to ground it, put the black lead of the LED in the other type of connector in the one hole that has plastic at one end. then just slip your ground wire through the outside hole, and squeeze the metal down. then take the plastic thing and push it down untill it snaps into place.

and heres a picture of the stuff i have...

so pricing is....

1.00 per blue led
.75 per inline wire tap
2.50 per 10ft. of wire
.50 per led holder

Default Re: My self-fabricated short shifter

i updated the first post with set prices on each of the parts of the gauges. if you decide you want everything changed, ill probably lower the price down a bit. once again, email me and we will work something out.

on a side not-

if only i could learn how to make white faced gauges....hmmmmm
