Tibby01's LED Stuff
double post, but for a reason....
heres a sneak peak tibwrc. all i have to do now is get those dial slits illuminated brightely and it will be on its way to you....

redz, just to double check on what i am sending you...
1. drivers side window switch
2. fog, cruise, rear defrost, and rear wiper switch(wasnt able to get the last one resistored)
3. blue needle kit
is that all?
be careful when you stick the switches back into that little plastic bracket peice. the resistors stick up a TAD of the bottom. i just tried them out in one of the brackets, and with a little bit of persuading, they slide right in. just make sure you dont rip the resistors out. the solder joints are pretty strong though, and i think youll know exactly what to do when you see em.

Looks frantastic mang, and yes, that's all of it for me.
You gonna send me a wiring diagram for that needle kit?
Also, can you tell me what wire I'm gonna have to cut for that one? I'll be really careful with the resistors my friend.
Heh heh...
Also, what did you think of the boots?
You get your soldering iron?

no, didnt get that damn soldering iron yet. wrote an email to em a couple days ago and still havent gotten a responce. you think its been 6 weeks yet? i cant remember.
for the rear wiper switch, you will have to cut the green/white wire and crimp the resistor on that wire. the green/white wire is the power wire for the illuminations for every switch.
boots look great, will be putting them in soon.
the needle kit is EASY to install man. a grey power wire and a black ground wire X 3. you know your bomz faces? just hook tthe power and ground wires directly to the power and ground wires for those. INbetween that little box and wherever you tapped into power and ground on the car.
if you need me though, ill definately get on aim and help you out.

they look awesome tibby, thanks mang.
oh and BTW,
REDZ doesn't have bomz gauges installed.
He's got the AOS faces. smile.gif
Wait til you see THOSE w/ one of your needle kits. wink.gif

i already saw the best combination. jaws's blue needles plus those shark racing faces with leds behind them will be hard to beat in my book. they are perfect.
exactly why i just bought some SR white faced gauges from someone. wink.gif
didnt he have the bomz gauges at one point in time? anyway, all el gauges are the same.
redz, with the needle kit i supplied and EL faces(have wires coming off of them, not direct replacements), you can take out the large sized bulbs behind and just run the wires out through there.

I had the bomz, but they are going to Hogboblin if he ever gets over here again.
Can't wait to get them and install them, you have NO clue how good those AOS gauges look.

i tried to tell em REDZ......
heres a lil peek :

Crappy pic too. THey are actually quite a bit darker blue than they look in the pic. REDZ can testify to that.
