Ok red lets dual! I am an ase master tech! I work for heiser chevrolet! I have an associate in auto repair. I went to school at waukesha county technical collage for a program called General motors asep program. I have worked in a proffesional shop for over 5 years! I also works for Rev Tek motosports building engines and doing swaps. You don't own ****! I will work you sorry *** around a car any day! You piece of **** backyard machanic. What you worked at midas as a lube tech and now you think you can wrench! shut your piece of **** mouth! I don't need your **** nor do I need this board! In my Mustang I ran 8.5/1 compression ratio cause I was running a 250 shot of nos and that was with trick flow aluminum heads if I used a cast iron head I would have had to run 7.5/1. The reason you want to run a lower compression is to eliminate detonation without having to retard your timing to the point where you actually begin to lose power. BTW, Red is not a back yard mechanic who relies on this board to gain knowledge. Red is always the one giving the knowledge. I will say you probably do know your $hit but if it was a battle of tuning or tuning knowledge, I would lay my money down on Red to walk all over your @ss . Also, Red offers his assistance to everyone without any hopes of financial gain. Thats right, he does it for free on these boards that are paid for by the owner and given to you for free.
