1997 'rev A' Fx For Sale
The purchasing party shall remain anonymous, at their request. Even though I'm quite sure that it is in very good hands, I will still probably cry like a little girl whose teddy bear got sold at a yard sale. crying.gif
$1500 probably covers 1/8th of total cost of the hardware on my Tib, and I'm not even going to subject myself to the epic facepalm of trying to put a dollar value on the labor involved over the last eleven years of ownership.
Who are we kidding, $1500 won't even pay for a month's worth of rent in the OC, unless you live in the ghetto. It wasn't necessarily about needing the money, it was needing to find a better home for the car versus letting it dry-rot in a barn or at $70/mo in an uninsured commercial storage building.

Yup, I'd hate to know where my investment sits on my car. Least its the DD again. I know i'm in the upwards of 30k when you take into account mods/repairs/trouble with the MAN over this car. At least this was your decision. My wife's always trying to wedge a crowbar between me and my evil little money pit. As long as yours found a good home, hopefully you can just move on and not sweat it anymore period.
Car is gone, as the new owner drove away with her about an hour ago. She will be missed 02.gif
And for those forum participants out there who thought it cute to comment about the new owner buying a piece of shit, you can kindly go blow yourself. You've proven yet another reason why I'm leaving this childish, power-tripping Hyundai scene, and I'm quite certain you know who you are. I was one of the very few folks running the Hyundai scene when you were a little nutrider that tried to kiss up to the admin staff, and I'm sorry for you that you never took the time to grow up.
I'm done with public posting on this or any other Hyundai forum, likely forever. Today's Hyundai scene is a shadow of it's once great self, and a few self-important wankers are the cause of this blight. If anyone would like to contact me for any reasonable question or conversation, I will continue watching PM's and respond accordingly.
Otherwise, I bid you farewell from sunny Laguna Beach (well, give it a week or two for the relo to finish smile.gif )

Yeah, I'd like to know too.
Sounds like he's talking about me, which would be kinda funny really, as I've not said anything bad about the new owner, just posed a few questions to other staff members. Now as to comments about RED...
It is EASY to figure out who bought it, just like when Patreezy bought Yamaha's Tiburon, put 2 and 2 together, you'll get 4.
Red, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out man. The Hyundai scene is doing as well as the rest of them, if not better right now. All are affected by the "economy" right now, and considering how old the RD is, we aren't doing so bad.
Any anti RDTiburon, or Hyundai comments will result in your being warned and an eventual banning.
