you are right, technicly you can, but I wouldn't recommend drilling/boring that extra material because it's making it stronger and it just PITA to do.

Hyundai determines the stock hp for our cars right? How do they get 140hp? Is there a dyno for the engine instead of wheels?

^ Yes, it's called an engine dyno... Nothing else is fitted, which explains why the power figures are always higher.

How much would 131 WHP be at the crank?

I know that 170 odd WHP = 230 Crank HP

I'd be interested to know.

hehe, i just stumbled on this. I have similar mods. Except I have a bored IM/TB, and I dynoed at 140WHP, 131.6TQ. so there, airram nana.gif

and since, i've tuned my safc, and am working on tuning backpressure on the exhaust for nominal gains. Wait until you guys see what I do with the Motoria exhaust wink1.gif
