Good, make sure you do, because the only before and after dyno's of it prove that it works. Wattsup4800 did them.

Without a BEFORE dyno on MB1604's car, we don't know what he gained or lost. Also, he has 98K miles on his car. That's a LOT also. Remember Blacktibs put the Apexi exhaust on that RD1 with 112K miles on it and got good gains? Imagine what they would have been on a newer engine.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>You can't say that I'm wrong because there is not one car on which dyno was done properly with the AIRRAM.</div>

Yes, there is. Wattsup4800 did one about 1.5 years ago. With 5 or 6 serious engine issues, he gained 2 WHP and 13 TQ from the airram.

1. Burnt out O2 sensor.
2. Spark Plug cables about 4 feet long.
3. IAT sensor taped to his VALVE COVER.
4. WAI.
5. Headers, STOCK exhaust.

BTW, have you heard anyone NOT swear by the airram? Besides ForddSlower I mean?

AIRRAM= definitley worth it.
As far as this kids dyno i was hoping for higher numbers, but im a firm believer that our Betas lose power with high milage. Im sure the airram made a ton of power for this kid. 160whp NA is just unrealistic for our cars unless its a low mileage motor with thousands put into it. I will vouch for anyone thinking of buying the airram. On a side note GARY is close to purchasing my air ram and we already know his whp and torque i would love to see another dyno with the air ram bolted on.

How large can you even bore up your stock IM to?

About 68MM, there's some NASTY spots in there, Faithofadragon can vouch for that. Point is though, the airram is a better design than the stock. There COULD be a better IM made for us than the Airram, but no one has done one that I've seen. The way the surge tank is shaped on it helps even the flow of air into the runners, and the runners are larger and longer than the OEM IM.

Is there any other car that has a similar IM that could be custom fit to our cars with some custom work and...well...someone else doing it for me lmao.

there has to be a cheaper route than the airram to end up with these results...

Not that I know of brotha.

There could be some changes in pricing on the airram soon if Mad John ever gets back to me.

LOL

Tigerlilly makes a IM for us too, but I belive it looks like the OEM one but is better designed on the inside.

I was only able to bore my manifold to 61mm. You can't go bigger than that, maybe another mm max.

I guess we'll see what Gary will do with AIRRAM smile.gif I honestly want this product to be as nice as it's being advertised and as nice as it looks, but I have yet to see a real dyno on a normal engine with no problems before and after. If someone gained 10whp and 10wtq I'd hail.gif and agree that AIRRAM is the shit.

For those folks that don't have $500-600 to spend on AIRRAM, take off your IM and bore the TB opening out as much as you can. Then port and polish the runners and I guarantee 5-7whp at almost no cost.

Why not go to the track now? You been to the track without airram?

I had mine bored out to 62mm without too much fuss fing02.gif

I should've done the runners too at the same time but lack of time meant it had to go back on right away sad.gif

The difference I noticed between before & after the bore was phenomenal! I must say though that I used the opportunity to also fit my "OZFLOW" phenolic IM spacer & I'm sure that's helped a lot too.

Anyone hear anything more about that 2nd iteration of the Airram? The one Baraboab posted pics of?
