Forgot about this thread! LOL.
So, I have my stage 3 clutch broken in with the fidanza flywheel. I think I have around 800 miles on them now. There was a noticable difference in acceleration and throttle response.
The clutch is quite nice, 1st gear is the only partly difficult one. It is hard to get a smooth launch unless I rev it to 3k, lol. After 1st I can drive it just like a stock clutch, very smooth engagement unless you thrash it, grips like crazy!! I can very easily chirp second now tongue.gif .
The clutch however doesn't engage until the pedal is damn near all the way up, prolly 2/3 of the way up it starts engaging. But I can push on the pedal a good 1.5" without it disengaging so it is not like it is only partially engaged or anything. The reason it comes up so high is because the clutch disc itself is about 1/2 the thickness of the stocker, grip-force said it is because it is made of a cerimetallic material or something. I e-mailed them about the thin thickness because I was worried about the life of the disc, but they said it will outlast any stock clutch and even the pressure plate so.
I also changed out the oem 5 heat range v-powers I had for the same ngks in a 6 (a step colder). The idle is a lil better now and the a/f is a little richer at idle as well. I am going to do some data logging and re-tune it with these plugs now. Damn CEL is still there though. WTF??
I suppose my next step (after I pay my upfront 1620 insurance bill for 6 mo.'s 02.gif ) will be the individual coils with a prs 4? I could use that to run each coil right? Or would I need to also buy a dis 4?
Thanks.

You could also run it with the PRS2, but you would be using ALL the outputs without any extras. The PRS4 has a few extras, so you can run nitrous for example.
A DIS2 is fine for the stock 2 coil pack system.
But if you want to go all out racing, then you could buy 4 MSD coils. Then buy a DIS4 to fire the 4 coils.
I happened to find a DIS4 at a great price, so I'm gonna run 4 individual coil packs.

^Thanks jon, but my main question is: Can I run 4 individual coils with the prs4? I would not need a DIS 4 then correct?
I am just wondering if there is any point to purchasing a dis4 if I get the prs4?
Also, how easy is the prs4 to work with and will a 1.4ghz laptop with 768mb of ram be sufficient to tune with it??

I think you will need the DIS4 then. You might not get enough juice off the stock wiring.
I was running the PRS4 off an old laptop. I'm thinking it's like a PI with 60mb ram. It doesn't take a lot to run it.

*UPDATE*!!!
NEW time: 14.83 @ 93.49mph. 60' was 2.28.
Well, I am pretty satisfied with this run, the weather was decent so I was able to get into the 14's. I'm sure the clutch and flywheel along with some various additional weight reduction helped as well.
I was looking for 2.1 60' 's but oh well, with those damn dunlops that is probably near as good as I will get.
Just figured I would post up my latest results.
