wow! this thread got heated. OP I've run a half dozen autocross events now and never had any oil starvation issues. I'm turbo too so their would be even more chance of it happening to me. Stock cars are out there autocrossing at every event. Don't worry about it.

^ hey look! Somebody who has "done the work" chimes in and says what I was TRYING to hint at in the first place!

Sorry, but just how is this $800 manifold an estimate?

P.S. you don't have to try too hard to find a $500 oil pan, either.

Straight-up namecalling post deleted. Those of us who are mature enough to grasp a new intellectual concept know where I was going with previous posts in this thread.

Be nice, even when you are wrong. When people come to HA they aren't coming to find this:

Oops sorry faith I didn't mean to take over your argument there. I wish it were my $800 manifold . . .

I'm sure you'll probably warn me/get hurt Hell I might even get banned for doin this and I don't care, try to defend yourself from this post but with every outright WRONG thing you post people are slownly beginning to catch on how full of sh*t you are

Ok, there's some good info here, some questionable info here, but a TON of useless arguing. That's not why we are here. It is always okay to present an alternate opinion, especially if you can back it up with some sort of evidence/proof, but we are all adults and some of us need to try a little harder to act like adults.

OP, I'm sorry your thread got hijacked by bickering. If in all of this your questions got answered, great. If not, please post any further questions you have in a new thread.
