<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (hamhead)</div><div class='quotemain'>Based on stock restrictions, Intake and full Exhaust is a given. Your going to make power from that, and I've shown that. Intake and 2.5in exhaust knocked 0.4 seconds off my quarter time. My 60-foot was 2.28 before, but was in 2.3-2.4 range this time. I think I can get 15.3-15.4 on better tires or with a better launch.</div>
holy crap i know AWD DSM people who run 60' times like that.. what tires you using?

Default rotor removal

I'm not sure if you will hit 175whp, but if you run 15.5 with I/E you should definitely get in mid 14s with better 60' times. Get better tires and strip your car down!

Everyone is talking sh*t like they were with me when I said I could get into 15s with just an intake and once I did it everyone didn't know what to say and some people started callin me a liar.... pathetic!

Dweet, I ran 2.2 my 60' as well smile.gif

Well, good luck bro!!!!

Dweet, at the track you run at? Some tracks are kind of pathetic. Track I run at is in pretty good shape. Not the best, but decent. Besides, 2.28 isn't a miraculous 60 foot time on street tires. Generally, I would think Tibby drivers would run between 2.3-2.5 60 foot stock. Once your getting more power to the wheels, 2.1-2.3 on street tires is possible. I've never seen a FWD timeslip with a 60 foot time in the 1.8-2.0 range though.

My 60 foot time on my GSX is 1.8 on street tires. I hope you're talking stock or slightly modified AWD DSMs. I think stock 60 foot time on my GSX (It wasn't stock for long laugh.gif) was about 2.2.

2.28 60-foot time with the Tibby was extremely lucky. I was one of the first runs of the day before the track got all gooey. I'm still running the Stock Michelin XGV4s (I think?). The tires only have 6k miles on them though.

Heres a little car history:
My car was wrecked with 1700 miles on it lol.gif by someone in Virginia Beach. It sat for a year or two, and someone bought it and rebuilt it on a salvage title. It sat for another year, and the tires got f0x0red after all that time sitting. So I bought the car with 6000 miles on it (previous owner drove it a little) for 6500.00. Cheap for a Tib with such low miles, but I have no warranty. oops.gif

I'm not absolutely positive, but I think the track I run at is about 300-600 feet above sea level. I know it's below 1000, because the highest point in the county I live in is 820 feet above sea level.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BillyDee01Tib)</div><div class='quotemain'>good luck with that hamhead, whys everyone so negative and cranky, everyone take a nap! NOW!....seriously tho lets everyone simmer down.</div>

No one is cranky young man, the fact is, we know what we are talking about. We get new folks in every few months that think they know everything there is to tuning a Hyundai because they tuned a Honduh once.

Well, not everything is made the same.

Simple.

Real Engineerings cam has proven a 27+ horsepower gain on a stock motor on their dyno. They'll do wonders for your N/A tuning scheme.

Oh yeah, I'm sure you will hit 175 hp one of these days. smile.gif
