We've been thru that on the Airram, you don't loose anything. You should hear how good it sounds when it's sucking in air.
Anyways, I'd like to know the following....
1. Rims? What type and size?
2. ICE? What you bumpin bra?
3. McDonalds Factor? How much flab you tossin in dat shiz?

Stock Rims with BFGoodRich Traction T/A Tires. I dropped the pressure when I went in.
For the ICE I have the stock head unit and then just a Sirius receiver. New speakers too of course but no subs.
McDonalds factor... I weight 150lbs and was the only one in the car.
The car has alot of power its just that when second doesn't hit right you seem to loose most of it

Don't feel bad UltraTibby, I ran a 17.134 my first time to the track, I know what you mean about the first run. Look at it this way, with all your tranny problems you stayed in the teens!
HaHa thanks for the encouragement..... I just did the lengthing the shift cable thing (well twice so far) and it has helped A LOT. I just adjusted it again and will need to test it out and then go from there. I am still going to do a tranny rebuild with the turbo gears though in hopefully the near future but this will atleast make the car raceable until then.

tibs are 16's for quarter mile.
sorry to hear about the gears. maybe a little practice runs will do the job. oh, and don't forget to heat your tires up a little.
if the clutch is the problem, that's what you need to spice up.

my tib is running mid to low 13's in the 1/4 and 8.4 in the 1/8 so i dont know what u people are doin wrong i will post my time slip tonight for the people who dont believe it. i have no turbo just cams, cai, intake manifold, 61mm throttle body, underdrive pully's, and 4-1 headers with no cats or muffler, and 75 shot nx.
i'd like to see that timeslip
because i was only pulling off a 15.1 with all AEM CAI, BTB, BIM, 4-2-1 header, 2.5" catback, Fidanza Flywheel, lightweight crank pulley...
i could see mid 14's with a 75 and cams but not mid 13's im lucky if my boosted Elantra

Dweet no offence but I don't think that you know your car well enough to do great at the track. I got into mid 15s with just a CAI and 100lbs weigh reduction, and with your mods I would be a second faster, now add nitrous and most likely it will shave off another second.
But I do want to see that time slip!
