man. i'm originally from VA
i can't believe the cops have gotten that crazy. back in the day i had a '91 plymouth acclaim 4 banger sedan. it was amost all stock cept for a k & N. i was 17 and i raced my buddy's old style ford escort 2dr, (the boxy ones in the 90's) and his clutch was slippin. i was in heavy traffic after school and my passenger was supposed to be point, you know look for cops. wel i got pulled over, and almost caused some accidents, pretty stupid of me i admit, but he got me for reckless cuz he couldn't clock me. he said i didn't blink, which i did smile.gif cuz i wanted to at least let people know i was gettin over or cutin em off. good ole honorable judge dismissed it cuz the cop didn't show, he went to adult courts instead of juvie (17. ) so its not on my record. sweet. newayz, i know that va cops are ass *(*;s why ionno, but if you have anything non stock they will literally follow you for miles, i've been in buddies cars and seen it. then they'll pull you over just to bring you to court on anything. i odn't street race anymore, and don't really condone it, its unsafe. but if you;'re in VA, think about it, its not like here aruond fort polk where if you know the mayor of some small town like i do, you're good to go.
As for the non stock exhaust, that is stupid what if you get one from meinekee!

VA is gay...Chesapeake is the worst for being lowered and having an aftermarket exhaust. The mustangs and domestics get away with the exhaust all the time. Sucks. The strip and VA beach is just ridiculous these days. You can only make one full pass an hour ( going one way then turning around), you can't have an exhaust, can't be lowered enough for them to notice, and a friend of mine got pulled over for having an intercooler...they tried to give him some bullshit ticket and it got removed the next day due to his father being a VA beach cop.
It is ridiculous to be in VA these days. They hate on lowered, "tuned" imports and lifted trucks. Sucks.
