dweet, I have to agree with you that Gtechs are not very accurate and many things could affect the times, but lets not start this 15-14 second argument again.</div>
if you remotely think a Tib can get into the 14's with NA mods only WITHOUT the use of a standalone to advance the timing.. you got be a little loco in the cabeza

Well, remember how you were saying that it's impossible to get into 15s with just a CAI, and guess what I did, not just high 15s, but mid 15s. I really think that our cars are capable of some crazy numbers if you know you car very well!!!

and if course turbocharging your car would be a while lot better, but for those poeple that don't wanna deal with turbo they can get good numbers too.

remember it was either viper or someone else who as spraying on his tib and got 14.1 I think? and it was only 60shot I think.

had more than just spray... if you really want to get into the 14's without a power adder you'd need pretty much the whole NA works. The fact is beta's suck for NA. I still have trouble believing you hit mid 15's.. you posted times but you didnt scan a physical slip. I've head of 15.7's with a I/H/E and pulley but nothing like 15.5.. my car ran a 15.6 with AEM CAI, BIM, BTB, UR crank pulley, Fidanza Flywheel, 4-2-1 header, short shifter and a 30 shot. I upped to a 50 shot and ran a 15.1 . But I think there is something wrong with my car because other people have driven it and haven't done any better.

Also a beta swapped accent which weighs 2000 runs low 15's stock. You'd have to pull out more weight than you did in your 15.5 run. I think all the people on this site with the technical knowledge about our cars will agree with me. Maybe something is different abotu your car. Just liek Wytchdocto's accent that ran 16.7 with no mods, but thats rare and not the majority of our cars.

look at my galery, there is 2 time slips. one for 15.87 run and the other one is for 15.69 run. and as I told you I didnt have pass seat, no spare tire, no carpet, no back seat, empty tank of gas and home-made CAI.

maybe there is something special about my car, but there is no need to lie to any of you, i did what i did and pretty sure others can get close to it.

Ok, now i remoevd my rear seats, pass seat, spare tire, and anything else that isnt bolted down, i have CAI, exhaust, race headers and cat, short throw shifter, and AA traction yoko tires, my best time was 16.235, i have the Best set of Denso spark plugs available, also i have a coolant temp problem caused by bad ECU, which is causing my engine to run richer than Donald Trump. I'm not saying your lying, but those are some unbelieveable numbers for the amount of mods.

There is either something wrong with your car or with your driving. I hit 16.56 with my auto elantra with a lot less mods(I/H/E no weigh reduction)

I think it's all about driving skills

here are the two slips with 15.87 and 15.697 runs. enjoy! I'm #38
