Well went back to the track last night, ran a 16.23 @89MPH, my buddy in the RSX ran 15.87. he got really pissed off cause towards the end of the race he looked back and i was right there on his ass. he has the same mods done to his car as mine, CAI, exhaust, headers, short shifter, only difference is my engine is a 1.8 his is a 2.0 and theres about 50-60 more in his car!! and my cars dropped 1.5". well, the tracks up in ohio are starting to close so i'm not gonna be doing any more racing (legally) till spring, sucks cause i'm almost done porting and polishing my intake.

 

The RSX owner should be pissed off, those cars are supposed to be doing mid to low 15's. Maybe he sucks as a driver?

 

with those mods on the S .. he should be mid 14's...
unless elevation really sucks over there..

those cars are 210hp stock... but i believe they are pretty heavy as well... anyways good run..
also what track was that at? i want to run my tibby one time before boosting and i think i can hit mid 15's now with my S-AFC installed

 

the type s has 200 hp and weighs 2760..

 

i just saw in an add its 210hp.. but looks like that car is only about 100lbs more than ours... i guess that driver just sucks heheh

 

Unless he had an automatic (If there are automatics available for the TypeS), but even if he did, he should still be running faster than that.

 

there are no auto type s's

they have 170whp

ive raced my friends type s AT TRACK OF COURSE
and hes beaten me and ive beaten him

but hes a bad driver

that guy cant drive... very sad! his car should be capable of mid 14s with those mods!

 

the RSX type s has 200 hp. The only one that has 210 hp is the new one (the 05) which also redlines at 8200.
