Re: Scariest Hyundai Owner
I have a 97 tib and i don't know how accurate a gtech pro is but i ran 14.87. I tried 5 times and i've got consistent times of 14.987 to 15.04. I wonder how fast my tib would be if i haven't sold my zex. Is the 1.8 v.s 2.0 tiburons that much of a difference in time. I believe you shopuld break into the 15's.Hopefully real-engineering could do something our crappy ecu's so i could break into the mid 14's.
1997 tiburon
CAI, 4-1 headers, 2.25 exhaust, gt cam, airram, 61mm bbtb, clutchmasters lightweight flywheel, stage 3 spec clutch, eibach full suspension kit, unorthodox pulley, and much more cosmetics

Are you sure it's not V-TEK? Because I saw a Civic with a sticker that says that... laugh.gif

Re: Poll: Riciest mod on a car
Well i don't know how accurate my gtech is but i've beaten a celica gt-s and an acura typeS but not the new 210hp just the 200hp. The airram, bbtb, gtcam, clutch, and flywheel made a HUGE DIFFERENCE. Before those mods my car still felt slow with cai, headers, and exhaust.

yes.. each honda motor is different... but it doesnt kick in that late (6800) for sure.. or even past 6000...
was the GT-S auto? even if its stick then it musta been a crappy driver.. a GT-S is pretty much as fast as a type-s , its a drivers race.. except the fact that the GT-S is a harder car to race than a type-s is.. and also if its a 2002 GT-S that could also be the problem..

Re: 4-1 header
Yeah the GTS's are quick cars, they aren't fast, but they're quick. The VVT on those is pretty sick too man, I think it hits harder than the VTEC does. Almost like an extra level on the gas pedal or something.
