I've tried it with just the modem and didn't get anywhere. I will try again anyway though(never know maybe I missed something). I had to use just the modem when talking to XBS because their picky and won't help you with router issues.

Well, if you cant' get it to connect without the router, direct link, then there is another issue my man.

Who is XBS? Never heard of them. Have you called Microsoft on their line?

I'll see what I can do to help you out. Java should be bugged on this too.

Do you know for a fact that the Cat5 cable you are using is a straight patch cable and not a cross over? Do you know for a fact that the cable you are using is good?

Yes and yes. I am using the cable that would normally be going to my computer(that is when I didn't have it hooked up as a ICS connection), I already tested the cable I am using now and it works fine

Heh, tell me this.

Did you go into Xbox Live and try using your PC's MAC ID on it? There is a setting in there for that. I used to have to do that to mine. Shit. You know what it is? I bet that your ISP is using your PC's MAC ID instead of the MODEM's MAC ID#. So no matter what hooks up to your modem, it will only give service to your PC. I'd get ahold of the ISP and tell them that you want to reregister your modem's MAC ID. But you could always try the MAC ID clone thing in Xbox Live setup first too.

Did that laugh.gif. I did the PPPoE settings to, tried it in different orders(like PPPoE on and no mac, or mac and no PPPoE, and both on).

Wow, really is a small town eh?

Go buy another one from walmart or a pawn shop. Give that one a try. If it doesn't work, take it back.

Java is gone for the weekend, him and Supercow are our PC experts. I'd PM them.

I wish I could help more, but Sprint's site sucks ass. Not a lot of info there.

Let me see what I can do though.

First off, do you have Sprint or is it Earthlink thru sprint?

What error are you getting?

EDIT:

Might wanna check this.
