I can also rep their service, I've used them for web hosting for the past 4 years now. That's about as cheap as you'll find it too, normal hosting price is like $115/year or some such. If anyone signs up and wants to add "russellfamily7771@netzero.com" as their referrer I'd be obliged, means I'll get payed if you stick around for a second year.

 

what would the renewing fees be? I have my stuff @ GoDaddy that needs to be renewed by May. Can I have this take its place somehow, keeping the same domain?

 

It depends on what package you want as far as fee's after the initial one year. I think their packages start around $10/month. Not sure. I pay my dedicated server plans in yearly payments, so I dont know too much about the shared hosting plans they have.

 

You can sign up at dreamhost and transfer the domain from GoDaddy to Dreamhost, the complicated part is getting GoDaddy to give it up. As a web developer I can tell you that the control panel is a LOT better with dreamhost then with GoDaddy. Renewal a year from now is like $115 or $120, which is about average. dang, that is cheap! I typically charge $30 a month for business customers but that includes site updates and things.
