Who Here Legally Races?
I dodn't see anything specific so I thought I'd ask.
Me, I'm a SCCA SoloII lover and have spent some time on IRP (now officially ORP)'s famous 1/4 mile track. Unfortunately, drivinga 16-second economy car doesn't provide many thrills in a straight line. That's why the car hs been set up to turn. Running H&R's, GK 19mm sway bar and 225/45R16 Hankook RS-2's on 16x7 Konig Holes. Car loves to turn. . . just needs a better driver!
Any others out there?

My husband with his Pony and a couple of his Accent driving buddies used to go to Cayuga, ON. I always wanted to give it a try but can't do it with my massive bodykit and being so low to the ground. I may try with my next car, I think I'd be pretty good.
Women are typically good drivers on the course. I just wish I could get the wife involved or at least co-drive with me.
We have an older couple that runs in the national level events. They run a CSP Miata and it's always contest between the 2 of them to see who's fastest!
I forgot to mention, anyone local (Indiana) that is interested PM me and I can get you information of our schedule, as well as the surrounding regions.

I don't race, YET.
I'm going to be starting doing some road courses and auto X soon, as it's getting warmer here and I feel my car is almost ready. I posted some pics of thelocal auto course a few weeks ago here.
Got any pics of those 225/45/16's up close? I run 205/50/16's on mine, and am considering going down a size. What's the difference in heights?

I just joined the campus FSAE team (small scale Formula racing) here. It just started, so we have to design and build the car, but I'm hoping to be a driver too. Those formula cars are crazy quick!! 100ish hp with under 500lbs weight is nuts. Unfortunately there's a restrictor on the air intake, so max speed is under 60. But 0-40 time is absurdly fast.
Really looking forward to it!

The car is set up right now for drag racing. That's all that I do.
I am looking into doing autox, but I'll need to change a bit of my set up for that.
Also redz, you wouldn't be down sizing, 225/45/16 is a up size for ya lol
