Um.. majikTib
thank you for letting me know. The weird thing is, on my cardomain site, (http://cardomain.com/id/majiktib) I have an entire paragraph that was inspired by JF Racing. I got 3 emails in one week from people complaining that they had ordered from JF Racing and their body kit didn't fit right. They ended up paying so much to make it fit, they could have gone ahead and bought the real thing.
I also contacted Jason (yellow VS) and James (silver VS) to let them know their cars were being used.
The horrible thing is, I can't sue them. I don't have the pictures copyrighted and I heard that any pictures I post on the internet are up for grabs, legally. I did contact them demanding them to remove pictures of my car, since the quality and fitment are nowhere near the body kits they show. I told them I contacted two other people and they would be sending emails soon.
thanks again.

could you "copyright" your pics if you put "property of majiktib" or something on them when you upload them? maybe that would keep some people away from steaking them or something..
it's really retarded that they couldn't just ask you guys if they could use your cars. losers

even putting words on your image doesn't really change anything. It's pretty easy to remove words from images like they weren't ever there (although in jf's case, it could be quite difficult). Even still, as majikTib said, everything is up for grabs on the internet. I wonder what they would think if people stole their images? A taste of your own medicine is always bitter. I doubt they actually have a copyright for those images or anything on the site, since every fan site from geocities to domain names has said that at the bottom of the page sometime. However, usually hosts WILL make their hostees remove "copyrighted" images and documents just in case someone does feel like trying to pull a lawsuit up, which would then make the host (not the actual site) responsible in most cases. Let's hope they oblige the requests though.
Also there is a tiburon around here that was for sale at the walmart parking lot (I'm not sure if it is anymore) that looked exactly like that yellow one.. but I doubt thats the same one. lol.gif

WTF, prove to them it's yours? I'd take a pic of your car with a big fat middle finger in it and a sign that says F*CK jfracing.com
LOL, and replace the file that they are linked to so it shows up on their website....haha.
here is the thing, they say that the images(majikTibs') is their property. which, clearly it isn't.
