Go to register.com and look up their domain. All of the contact info is there. Their host is bcentralhost.com which is owned by Microsoft I think. If you look up bcentralhost.com you can get their contact information. You do not need negatives to prove that they are your pictures. You should also contact the BBB since they are using a different/better product to represent the product they are selling which has different fitment, ie false advertising!

Actually you can fight. You can do like I said and report them for false advertising. If you know for sure they are selling the fake kits, and using your picture to advertise what they will look like.

Yeah, you can copywright images online.

He's got lots of rights man, mis-representation is a biatch you know?

There was a case a few weeks back where some company used a picture of some old actor saying "I use viagra" type thing. He called his lawyers and it was taken back and he was settled out of court for some undisclosed account.

sorry but false advertising is only when you buy from them.... a reg buyer does not know if the pic that they have from majik is the "right" kit or not.. its just a pic... not the real thing, sooo you cant tell the "fakeness" untill you are up close...

and redz..... like i stated before, and i am goin to use caps so you will get it.. ONCE A PIC REACHES THE INTERNET, UNCOPYWRIGHTED, THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO......turst me i have tried.. the only way around it is to buy something from them and then claim false advertising..

LOL

You haven't tried hard enough.

Tell you what, I'll go DL some porn images from a website and send them to you. You host them.

See what happens.

This isn't the first time it's happened in the crooked H community, it's happened a few times in the last 3 years. You have rights, yes, folks can DL stuff and host it if they want to, but you can do something about it. Yes, anyone else can also DL that image and host it, it can become a never ending chain once it's on the net, but you can, do something, about IT.

It's the same with ebay, you see your pic on there hosted by someone else, their auction gets canceled.

For the sake of argument,

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO GET A COPYRIGHT?
You do not need to apply or register to have a copyright; you receive copyright protection when you create the work. The instant you use your pencil, typewriter or computer to produce something original it is subject to copyright protection provided it is a copyrightable subject matter. However, registering your work with the Copyright Office expands your protections and sometimes can be done without disclosing the entire work. Depositing a copy of your work with the U. S. Copyright Office within 90 days of creation also protects your work by providing a legal record of the creation date and allowing others to have notice of your ownership rights.

Super.. umm.. sorry to burst your bubble.. but no.. As a photographer, I have rights too any picture I take.

I know that the owner of the pictures(usualy the photographer or subject, in this case mT's car) does have a right. You see, a photographer is considered a artist, and by which has a right to. Copyright is established when an original work is created, composed or written and fixed to a tangible medium such as paper, canvas, recording, a hard drive, on film, etc.

The vast majority of the images, graphics, writing, music, etc., that is online is copyrighted to someone. Only works with an expired copyright, works created by the government, or works specifically dedicated by the copyright holder as "public domain" are considered public domain.

If you are not the original creator or copyright owner of the image, you cannot legally redistribute that image. Scanning an image and placing it online is redistribution and it is a breach of copyright.

Hence majikTib's car is the center of the creativity, and he thought up.. 'hey take a picture of her, under this tree.' Thru a contract with him and the photographer(?).. dunno if he took the pics himself.. anyways.. He scanned the pic(as owner of it), and posted it for other people to see. That website, took the picture without his permission and used it for their own profit.

according too supermanshark, I can (no offence java).. can steal this website, as it is not 'offically' copyright, and post it as my own, and have get a copyright for it.. just because it is online. The answer.. is once again.. NO!

"that way you can save your time and mine.. thank you mr. Hart".... soo unless you want to goo thru all this b.s. and trouble.. just ask them to remove it and get on with life...... and i did have to get my car copyrighted.. soo i do know how to go about that too......

No, it's not Hyundai's because they do not OWN the car and they did not TAKE the picture.

Simple.
