Happens to me all the time it will be civics, eclipses, talons, or cavaliers that do it the most. And F250s ride my a$$ all the time to. *Sigh*

 

Hate to thread-jack, but what is the horsepower on a cavalier and the pontiac sunflower? Some mook was saying his stock sunflower had more HP than my stock Tib and I find that somehow hard to beleive (mine = stock tib I4 - 2000 ES + AEM CAI)

 

yeah i hate that **** your driving down the street with your family and some young guy that just got his driver license out of a cracker jack box and finish watching fast and the furious thinks he could take you in his mother civic (stock) makes me made but i cant help laughing i guess we where all the same way.

I don't know about them, see I was driving one time about a year ago when my car was stock, and this chick in a sunfire kept racing me at each light, and yeah well her car was fast and she beat me everytime. I can't imagine that her car was stock though, she had to have had work done to it. Either that or my car was just slow, I mean I did have two other people in it at the time, and it was stock, nothing done at all.

I just hate the people that try to race me on the highways. Ok, look at my car. Does it look like its in any condition to go fast? No. It doesn't. The fastest I've driven with it is 90mph, with the duct tape and bungee cord holding the hood on.

 

Both the Sunflower GT and the Cav Z24 has 150, But the Sunflower SE and the plain Cav has 115. All are 2001s

 

lol i have had a corvette z06 revving at me...lol i guess it's that people really aren't familiar with our cars and then when you go and get a body kit and change the way it looks, they think it's something really fast lol.gif :roll: i've also gotten people waving at me who are like walking and i've had people video tape me, take pictures of me, honk at me, you name it. i don't know what the deal with that is but it sure makes you feel good laugh.gif

 

last nite while coming home, i had a civic get right up on my ass and stayed there til i got home, when i pulled to the side of the street so i could back in, he stopped right at me, revved his engine, and drove away. i found that real cool

 

Naw its not just you though man, it happens, the vary first day i got the car, this old dude in like one of thsoe 50's winged cars drove by next to me and gave me a thumbs up, since that day i usualy recieve some posotive gesture towords my car. but when it comes to younger teenage people its usualy more agressive race type and they instantly start a-revving

 

Over here, people stop for green lights, drive as fast as old people fock, and drive 15mph at schools even though it's 10:00pm at night...no joke..I'm the one cuting off people over here...lol

 

well im sure they all drive cadilacs and old Chevy's etc, but dude when i drove my dads old Chevy Caprice no1 ever cut me off, everyone stayed clear of that car, now when i take my car, the little red exotic looking car speeding around, everyone cuts me off, i also think its cuz our cars are soo small that people think they can do w/e they want around them.
