Dude, you always dump off the extra water from your Ramen before you put the seasoning in it.

Also, some folks like to butter their ramen.

Hell, I could give you hundreds of Ramen recipes, I was in the army for 11 years you know.

LOL

Chop up some lunch meat and toss it in. Shred up some cheeze and pop that on top. A plain egg over a hot bowl of ramen and let it cook on there.

Or another favorite, tear up a tortilla into little hunks and toss that into the broth. Very good.

^^ but then it becomes a breakfast burito. I like the bread, it is like actually eating something instead of just having a tortia crush under the weight of my tounge.

This a great cake. I made it on Sunday and everyone loves it.

Pumkin and pineapple fruit cake

Combine;
750 gms dried fruit - sultans, raisins, currents
250 gms butter
1 cup sugar
1 tin crushed pineapple including juice
spices as desired
1 teaspoon bi-carb soda

bring to the boil (will froth due to bi-carb), cook 5 - 10 min then cool to room temp.
Stir in 1 cup mashed pumpkin and 2 beaten eggs.
Fold in 2 ¼ cups plain flour and 1 teaspoon baking powder.
Place in square tin lined with paper and well greased.
Cook at 170C for 1 ¼ hour, test with a straw.
Allow to rest for a day before cutting.

Pfff..ramen noodles eyeroll.gif

My old neighbor taught me this..its from my country of origin (Poland)..and they taste great.

Cabbage filled with meat/rice and topped with sauce:

1 whole cabbage
2 cans campbells tomato soup
Pack of ground beef or turkey
Box of white rice
Pot to hold the rolled cabbages once ready to bake
Prehead oven to 375

Put cabbage into pot with water and boil until leaves are soft.
Boil and make rice as instructed on package. Once its done, put in separate bowl.
Put ground meat into separate bowl, add salt or any flavorings if desired.

Once cabbage is taken out of pot and cools down, start taking the leaves off and just cutting off the ends of them.

Now take each leaf and put some meat and rice into it and roll it up.

On the bottom of the pot your going to be using to bake the cabbage rolls, put extra cabbage leaves on the bottom of the pot to prevent burning.

Once done rolling cabbages up and placing them in the pot, also put extra cabbage leaves on top to also prevent burning.

Put the 2 cans of tomato soup over the cabbage.

Place in oven, for about an hour. Check every 15 min or so if desired..only thing your really baking is the meat inside so watch that.

Enjoy!

and no..the cabbage does not cause any digestive upset..

Something easier:

Parmesan crusted chicken

1/2 cup mayonnaise (or miracle whip if desired)
About a 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
4 boneless and skinless chicken breast halves (should be a pound or so)
2 tablespoons of italian seasoned bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 425

Combine mayonnaise and parmesan cheese in bowl.

Place chicken breasts evenly on baking sheet. Top the mayonnaise mix onto the chicken. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.

Bake for 20 min or until chicken is done.

Yummy! smile.gif
