I got couple more questions:

is the 2nd gen heavier than 1st? is there anything better in 2nd gen than 99 se performance and handling wise? mine shifts really smooth, corners really well, and accelerates pretty fast smile.gif

It's heavier, cause it has a lot of extra ugly installed at the factory. wink1.gif Nah, I don't know if it it heavier or not, I don't see why it would be, it is almost the same thing except for the front and rear. I think if you were to get a 97 or 98 you might notice a difference with a 2nd gen, but I think 99's all came with disks all around. I don't think there were any other performance improvements though.

 

rd2 is a little heavier.

im pretty sure though performance wise is the exact same, apart from the weight difference.

But I think officially, RD1 is 2595lbs and RD2 is 2650lbs.
Very minor. Not too sure where the weight comes from.

 

i just looked at my title and it says that our curb weight is 2633lbs.... weird
