Well, yes my site is aimed at eventually going nation wide with the "club" aspect. My sponsor is very interested in watching it grow. It has been made clear on facebook that it is pittsburgh based but people from all over the country, Germany, Australia and canada have joined anyways. It is not meant to compete. That is why I am advertising other forums. It is extremely apparent that I did not make that clear enough. I am trying to give credit where credit is due by offering suggestions for others to look into. Sites like yours have given me my start. I was around when you were young, but goodness knows what my screen name was. macrs7 most likely. see if you can look it up and see if it exists.

If it was my attempt to compete, I would not have advertised. If it was my intent to compete, I would not be inviting others to check out your site. This will be made clear as I tweak the site. The "mission statement" so to speak has not been posted except for a small section on the home page which changed late last night

It is also my intent to offer my opinion in the link section as to why I think these other sites are worth visiting. Maybe it is better put this way, I am trying to organize a "club" where all of these niche sites can come together and organize events with people from other sites, which is why I am advertising the other sites. does that make better sense

In fact, I will ask this. Please post what description YOU would like placed in the article to advertise your site..

dude, you're 34. Many of our active members have been in the Hyundai community for a decade or so. How *young* do you think we are?

Knowing the personalities of the people posting here, I want to make sure you aren't taking our comments as aggressive or attacking you. You seem to have a defensive tone in your post, so I want that to be clear.

We aren't like AutoGuide sites. The biggest difference I see between us and GenCoupe is the way we handle our forums. We don't delete threads because they scare us, mention a competing site, call out shady business practices to those who contribute financially, or contain a link of a competitor. We're here for the betterment of the community as a whole, as it appears you are as well.

I think it's great for you to organize meets and do what you can to promote the platform. I would like it to succeed, and I offer my opinions/critiques for that reason. I agree with Visionz' statement, I think implementing a subforum here would be a great way to gather more interest and allow it to grow faster by utilizing and reaching the membership base we already have. Since you aren't model specific, this would be a great home for you. We also already have the hardware and software support, so there's less maintenance for you.

Team SR became HA after Brad made it a members only forum. We took the database and implemented into HA.

I was friends with Shawn back in the day and helped him with Hyundai Tuner before he closed it down.

HA itself is 12 years old, but because it was once formerly TSR, its actually older than that if you want to look at it that way....

Once Bry closed FxTreme, this was the next site that everyone came to, even before HP started up.

Well I have only paid for six months. If it is not successful and I am still welcome at that time, then I will consider the option
