well, 216 members on the facebook group and groing. HA.org is a member. I would love to cross promote the two groups. The facebook group is really where it is all at for now. the forum is doing well for only being live for less than two weeks. And considering I have no experience with web design and forum operation, I think I am doing an OK job at it. Please at least check out the site. I am not asking any of you to join nor am I trying to steal traffic. It would be nice if we could both work together as a community. Me focusing on the car club aspect and you guys doing what you do best. I have great respect for this site and that is why I am promoting it on my site. This was one of the first sites that came to mind. We had several of your members attend my june meet and I look forward to many more of you coming next june. It really was something special for me. Considering I knew very few people on some of these other sites and it was my first time organizing a real event. 40 cars isnt to bad for a first shot. in fact it was iheartmyredcar that posted about the meet here to begin with. I took over the thread thanks to majik's help so that I could edit the content. It really was a site to see and I would like to invite you guys to come to my facebook page to see all of the photos. Over 400 hundred pictures. some in high rez some not. i would really like to make this site a partner in what I am trying to do with my site. I have no ill will toward this site and I am freely suggesting to my members that they visit HA.org. Please at least consider dropping by. www.hyundaimotorclub.com

I don't understand the whole "KDM Unity" thing. Recently, we had people upset that we wouldn't rebrand a "GenSport" event as a "KDM" event. The GenSport group has put a lot of work and organization getting vendors involved, contractual arrangements for discounts, and developing the largest Genesis meet in the country. When arranging our 7th event, the "KDM" guys wanted to attend. We responded that we'll take anyone. Then they got upset when we wouldn't rebrand it as a KDM event. After the years of work and organizing these events to promote the regional "GenSport" group, non-Genesis owners suddenly want to be involved. I don't understand it. What do a Kia Spectra, Rio, Forte, or Optima have to do with a Hyundai Veloster or Genesis?
I just don't understand the point of unity. From a functional persective, I don't get what the Forte can gather from a Veloster owner.

Well, good luck organising a national optima meet... At least you wouldn't need a big carpark.
Dude, 'KDM' is one of those nice things that has been ruined by bad people. The same goes for:
-anything to do with japan
-bacon
-zombies
-memes
-facebook
-atheism
It's the most drawn out cesspool of people bleating the same old crap on the internet over and over. Like, it could be nice, indeed it was nice, but a bunch of American kids in American-built Kias rolling up to a Genesis meet in the heart of America has nothing to do with the korean domestic market, at all.
