You've got to be kidding...i'm just curious (in case i want to outrun one, hehe).
Alot of police cruiser manufacturers don't give out specs of their cars for that SOLE reason. Plus, when you run, you won't encounter one, you'll encounter the horde.

ok, i'm not that stupid. i realize that there is more than one cop, and that no one can outrun the cops because there is an assload of cops and they have radios. i was expressing jocularity with my comment about outrunning one. man, you guys take things too seriously. i'm just curious to see what they get out of the crown vic's and the other cars they run. that's all.

a friend of mine told me that the border patrol cars are governed at 165 and that they could go faster if allowed. eek!
Yeah, because la migra has to be able to do 165 to catch a fruit truck stuffed with 50 or so border jumpers.

yeah, well i read in a mag that trooper cars were governed at 150, yet my uncle was saying that they can go a lot faster than that. now, i have you saying they're governed at 165. i have too many conflicting stories.
