I hear you Redz. And I'll take it all in. Thanks. You just get tired after a while you know. I've already been gone so it is a good idea to take her. You got a deal Mad John. Appreciate it.

D.N.Tib, I'm SATCOM. I work with a ton of SAH WEET stuff at the moment, in a building like no other that BLOWS people from all branches away when they come visit. They are always on the phone with their units "I can't describe to you what it's like. . " then they compare it to something but follow it with "But like 3 times that." I've been lucky to work in a place that offers training on everything you can ask for. CISCO cert was a mere $500 for training and the test. I work on Routers, Link2+ systems for Navy, SIPR, NIPR, VTC's, Promina, IDNX, Redcoms, SMU, dozens of crypto devices, as many different modem pairs(commercial and military)dual terminal 78B terminals, MIDAS, WHCA, Bush-Blair Link, etc etc. . . I'm looking at about $80g's to start anywhere in D.C./Arlington with only minimal negotiation efforts and a military prepaid clearance for any company. We orchestrated nearly 60% of all relief mission efforts of communications in less than 24 hours for Katrina aid. All you military know the UNGODLY amount of money to be mad overseas, but of course my wife wouldn't go for that. We're talking Paid In Cash Murcialago smile.gif Or one HELLA Tib. tongue.gif

So to sit in a van or motorpool in charge of of a small squad of troops asking them to keep some generators full of fuel, while I plug a patch panel from a converter to a modem 24 hours and sit around for the remaining 30 days of the month is somewhat unappealing. Actually I wouldn't be allowed to touch the Tech Control Equipment as a leader as it would be expected that those below me specialize in their area of equipment training.
