I bought my forest green 2000 Tiburon with 5 speed brand new with 9 miles on the odometer. Has all the extras except for the ABS brakes. I paid over $16,000 for it and will be finished making payments for it in 7 months!!! I've only put 53,000 miles on it so far.

I got my 2001 tib about 2 yrs. ago with 34k miles on it for 9800$.
Have never had any problems with it and now it has 70,438k miles on it and still runs like a champ! (o btw its fully loaded minus the sunroof and leather).
Just finishing up the turbo setup, and was thinking about just boosting the beta, but dont think its a good idea at 70k miles , so gonna just build a new low compression "race beta" and a beefed up tranny.

I still might go ahead and boost the beta thats in there now at like a low 5-7 psi while the race engine's being built but no sure.


Reason for building a race tibby and not selling it for something else? =

Dealership offered me 3k on a trade in on a neon srt-4. = screw you and the neon !

 

Why would want to go to a domestic piece??? Honestly the main reason I bought my Tib was because how many Tibs do you see beating the hell out of JDM cars on the track? That and I am the only KDM car in my entire club. All the rest are JDM.

actually bought the 98 she didnt like the spoiler so i took it then she still wanted a tib so we bought the ugly ass yeller one (stupid ass pastel yellow UGH!)

 

2000 Tib bought in 01 for $10,500 used w/ about 36k..not including the loan, im at about 50k right now tho... Bought at the dealership of course. They wanted $12,000 sticker price.

All options, leather, manual tranny 2.0 liter. w/ a sunroof. white

Tib appealed to me, test drove it. HAD TO HAVE IT! LOVED IT.
