wow, alright!
i got mine in november of 2002. that's two winters already with absolutely no problems whatsoever! ...and i've rampaged it in the snow! (well, cuz i had to test out the limits of my tib...my god, that was fun drifting in the snow/ice/sleet a few times!)
you guys saw my picture yeah?

that's like two years ago... it didn't get stuck until about 8 inches of packed snow.
x7xstring, it's okay. the most important thing is you're happy. if you think about it, your jvc must have been like at least $1,000. so the car would have been worth like $5,000 plus the system at the time.
col96fx, i think you paid a little too much too. but only cuz the mileage.
thanks all. LONG LIFE & BEST LUCK to us and our cars! CHEERS to both! tongue.gif

greeeat choice! i did the same for myself. my sister sprayed the car all over with pink foam "happy birthday" to piss me off. i got mine in november of 2002. that's two winters already with absolutely no problems whatsoever! ...and i've rampaged it in the snow! White '98 FX, Financed it for $10,643 2 years and 3 months ago. It had a few small dings and the passenger side skirt was not fitted properly but still solid. Fully loaded minus sunroof and leather, (but I hate leather), 5-speed. At the time I had trouble finding one with everything I wanted.. I was living in NH at the time and drove 2 hours into maine to buy it. Since then I've replaced the alternator twice, the steering rack, rear wheel bearings, many many belts, blinker relay, and now I have to replace the clutch. But I still love it.
got my 1997 Tiburon FX(every thing but leather) in 2002 paid $1,500 for it(it was lightly hit in the front, so I bought a car that was hit in the rear and me and my dad fixed it), 2nd owner had 27,000 miles when I got it, now has 44,000. All total it cost about $3,100(And if I can find a car that needs an engine it will almost have been free laugh.gif ).
