ive used this same feature to look at my hunting grounds back home. you can literally see the deer trails, weird.

 

The street view is pretty neat, i'd like them to do more of the upstate NY area so i can look at my old house hehe.

I was telling swift, eventually (not any time soon), youll probably be able to get a live version of the google maps. Creepy, 1984ish, and stalkers would rejoice, but its a little neat at the same time.

 

They haven't even started with Canada yet....

pff, they just have a small % of America done so i bet youll be waiting a while. They are just picking and choosing what cities they do as of right now, big cities are obviously first but they've also done some smaller areas which leaves me scratching my head.

I wanna see somebody doing something funny when they see the beetle coming, mooning or something lol. That'd be funny if it slipped in there.

Laws in other countries may just prohibit this, depending on the country...

 

Figured i'd post again showing actual real life use for this thing, besides the "thats cool" factor.

My second job is a caterer, I get a street address sometimes at the last minute and i'm told to get there by this time. Now that they've street mapped my area, i can look at what the work site looks like from the street before i get there. Which helps a ton.
