Do you have any controversial opinions?

People over 70 should go through a half day driving test every year to prove they can still drive in many situations. The usual 30 minute one isn't enough and they are among the worst drivers I've ever seen. Plus, they should pass a pen dropping test to prove their reflexes are good enough. They will all fail.

9/11 was the result of a terrible track record in foreign policy throughout the latter half of the 20th century. The people didn't deserve to die but The US as a whole should not have been the least bit surprised this happened. The biggest crime as a result has been the ribbon magnet movement.

Humans are a parasite on the earth and on other species. I propose nothing be done about this but we really are.

The health movement since the 60's has done far more harm than good to the population. Health doesn't mean anything except in the context of a certain society at a particular point in time. Thus it's mostly worthless.

I don't think abortion is murder. I believe the cells are potential life rather than actual life. I also think anyone under 18 should be required to take birth control. I believe in the death penalty. And, while I don't smoke pot myself, I believe it should be legal.

I think girls should have to take birth control once they begin getting their period because of things like this
http://cbs2chicago.com/local/Robeson.High.....2.1251642.html

115 Students Prego, 1 school, 1 in every 7 girls either mothers or mothers to be. Its not right and Im sure most of those girls will end p on some kind of public assistance meaning the tax payers will be helping to raise the kids.

Oh boy...this might get interesting.....I'm breaking out the popcorn now for some good debate. laugh.gif

I do however agree about the old people being re-tested! I've always been a strong supporter of that.

I am not a fan of abortion. While I believe they are cells with the possiblity of bringing life, I believe that possibility is high enough that it's terminating life before it's fully created.

To reference Newton's law, the process is already moving towards the creation of life, and will succeed in an overwhelming majority unless acted on by another force (abortion). If you don't want babies, stop it before it starts.

However, while I'm against abortion, I can't say it's a good idea to make it 100% illegal. People will have abortions, and have had, whether it's legal or not. Whether throwing themselves down the stairs to kill the baby, or having a back alley abortion, it's going to happen. I prefer there to be a place where it can happen in a sanitary and healthy environment rather than the alternative methods that will never cease to exist.

A judge has released a 17-year-old Vernal girl from jail after ruling she did not commit a crime when she allegedly paid a man to beat her in an attempt to end her late-term pregnancy.

Abortion is an interesting topic for me. I'm pro choice, and all....but for some reason....I see it as being not as big of a deal, when its just cells forming, over it being an actual human being with arms, legs, head, body, and brain. I dont know why I think that way, but yeah....just do.

since you mention cells & arms/legs, is there a point at which you change your mind? Do you see a difference between 2 weeks (no visible formation) or 8.5 months (heartbeat, arms, legs, etc.)?

What about Partial Birth Abortion that Clinton signed into law, where the baby's half-way out when you kill it?

I am pro choice, but yeah I have a personal limit. If the fetus has a chance of living outside the mother (even with life support equipment) that's where i personally draw the line. I don't think it should be a legal line, although I do think partial birth abortion is wrong and I would support banning that. I have absolutely no problem with abortion in the first trimester, and I have progressively more problems with it as time progresses from there. Once in the third trimester I think it's 100% not cool.

I am a hunter, and while I don't enjoy taking an animal's life I don't feel sorry for doing it to sustain myself and my family. A cougar kills a deer every 2-3 days to survive, me killing one a year and feeding my whole family for 6 months is a lot more efficient. If I hunt and kill a single cougar I will save the lives of more deer than I would hunt in an entire lifetime. If I killed a cougar I would eat it, even though I doubt I would like it. I feel it's my duty to utilize any animal I kill to the best of my ability.

I don't have a problem with reasonable speeding. But that's reasonable according to me. 150mph to me is reasonable if the only life you're risking is your own but it's hard to find a situation where that is true on a public road.

I am also against laws that save you from yourself, such a seat belt laws. If people don't care about their life I sure as hell don't.

I think gun laws should be relaxed. Criminals don't care what gun laws are anyways. I would rather have well armed law abiding citizens around me keeping the well armed criminals around me nervous. Aside from that I think the general population needs to be able to put up a real fight against the government. I think the real point of the 2nd Amendment is that we can protect ourselves from tyranny. At this point in time it's looking more and more like we'll have to resort to that within my lifetime.

I think if someone is committing a crime on your property you should be able to shoot them without any legal consequences.

I think people should be held 100% responsible for the actions of their pets. If your dog gets loose and bites me, you should go to jail as if it was you that assaulted me because you're an irresponsible a-hole and I got bit because of it.

I think redheads are hotter than blondes.

True story.

I think the Media is corrupt, and that America will be nuked in the next 15 years.

I believe someone, somewhere, will blame it on Bush.
