I have a few more...

Prisons should be eliminated, and replaced with public flogging.

All executions should be by hanging or firing squad. No gas chamber, no injection, none of that. Who cares if it hurts or it's mean? If we're executing you, we presumably have a good reason, and don't care about your feelings.

Premeditated murder, forcible rape, heinous assault, and kidnapping should all be capital crimes.

Knowingly accusing an innocent person of, or prosecuting an innocent person for, a crime should be a crime, and the person at fault should get the same penalty as the accused would get if convicted.

All firearms should be completely unrestricted to any adult who is not convicted of a violent felony.

I think alot of politicians are corrupt, power hungry, and are only in office to benefit themselves, instead of the people. Want to know what's wrong with government? Watch the boardroom scene in Dogma but imagine the board members are senators. The dialog does not change one bit.

I think vigilante law should be in place. You hurt someone close to me....I should be able to hunt you down and hurt you back, before taking you into the police.

There should be laws to prevent career politicians to serve unrestricted in Congress (i.e., Ted Kennedy). People shouldn't be senators or representatives for 40+ years. They learn how to navigate and circumvent the system, and can be quite dangerous IMO.

^ really?

This is more of a huge gripe than a controversial topic, but I think Alcohol is one of the best man made conversions of nature ever. The idea that it can be taxed as heavily as it is really pisses me off.

There's something like a 17% wholesale tax for restaurants, and a 15% liquor sales tax ON TOP of the 9.25% state sales tax.

I agree about JFK. If he was in office longer I think he would, by far, be the greatest president.

I'm glad restaurants no longer have smoking sections. If smokers want to ruin their own lungs, then so be it. But dont be around me or make me suffer with 2nd hand smoke because of your habit.

His brother RFK was promising. fortunately or unfortunately the whole political spectrum moved, yes he was a democrat but not a far left one. and in todays time could be considered independent. Its a shame he was shot as had promise to do a lot of good in office.

That's something I really can't pick a side on. I'm a non-smoker. I am SO glad I don't have to deal with the smoke.

BUT.... I really can't say I approve of the government telling a private business/company what they can or can't do. Smoking isn't illegal, if it was it'd be different.

I was always frustrated with the hostesses/hosts that would walk you through the smoking section to get to your non-smoking table. Or the fake dividers that were more of a visual than an actual barrier from the smoke.

I'm happy with the law here in TN, but I worked at a locally owned private restaurant that was only open for dinner. Legally, the owner wasn't even able to sit in his office and pay bills while having a cigarette. Would I want the government telling me how to run my business? What if it came down to my home?

Here no businesses can have smoking indoors or within 25 feet of a door even.

I'm for it because I HATE cigarette smoke, but I do think there should be a way to have a smoking establishment, like a liquor license sort of.

-this isn't our war. it's a religious war. and 9/11 was known about before it happened.

-cars today are really ugly, girls are creatures, movies after 1999 are sucking, music and the radio today is sucking, true art has been lost and the masters are passing away.

Well, there's 2 reasons good enough right there.
