yea, even with the FOUR maps in this thread alone. PLus the links. This thread loads just as fast as the others. Once it shows up I can immediately scroll down and see all four maps. No prob. fing02.gif

I think it's only when you post a map and then click add post that it gets all screwy. I'm gonna add another map tomorrow and see if it loads fine or not.

Josh,

any way to do multiple pins on the map? each with their own text bubble when you click on them? wink1.gif

Technically, it is very possible - the actual maps have a TON of possibilites - numerous pins, lines showing routes/directions, custom pins, etc.

The problem is that the forum software (and not just this site, all other forums, too) only allow 2 variables for the bbcode. You have the user submitted text that comes inside the [ ] brackets, such as the URL, and then the text that goes between the beginning and ending tag, which makes the pop-up bubble.

I could make it so that you enter two URLs, one in URL spot, and another between the tags, and it would then create 2 pins. The problem then is that the two pins would not be clickable, they'd just be there.

So I guess a better answer is yes, it's possible, but has limits and drawbacks.
