I would like to say that kits like these which are made for other cars are not as well designed. Take the 3G Eclipse hood lifter kit for example.. You must remove the pop rivits and buy new ones in order to pull the fender off the car. This kit was designed for this car, just line it up, drill and put the pop rivits in. If for some reason you need to remove the hood, you can do so easily by just detatching the connection on the strut. Also, these directions are fool proof http://www.kfxperformance.com/QL-HYD...701_QL-101.pdf
I just purchased a set to replace my e-bay sokie tech hood dampers.

I was thinking about getting these, but kinda scared about drilling into the CF hood, if im not the best with tools and all of that and suggestions on going about doing the installation and not ending up with a messed up underside cf hood?

The prices were lowered. Also, Bill created 2 different catagories, RD1 and RD2, but there is no difference in the description. What's the difference between RD1 and RD2?

DTN, why are you ALWAYS a douchebag? YOU know the differences between the RD1 and RD2, it's the SAME KIT, it's just put up in both sections for those that DON'T know that the same parts fit.
The prices in both the RD1 and RD2 section are IDENTICAL to what he posted in this thread.
