bhurlin... i know you know who i am tongue.gif i still have not recieved my proper kit. is there a tracking number i can get from you on the kit so i can track it or can you update me on the status of it??

Tibbymat, I am sorry, redline thought yours was a duplicate order when i sent it back to them and they did not ship, they have shipped it out today. I should receive an invoice by Monday

I had to re-engineer the positions of the hood lifters for my hood. My hood sat too low in the engine bay and the hood lifters bumped against the strut towers. It was because of the angle of the hood lifters when hooked to the Scoote hood. Here's what you do...

Place tower hood lifter mount against tower weld at the front of the tower
Add +3 inches to the hood measurement.

Here's some pictures I took right after a car show. Nevermind the junk i've got sitting on top of my radiator mount.







Also, this method prevents the hood lifters from interfering with the strut durring removal.... so really, I've come up with the best way to install these lifters. Have fun.
