Stop messing around & remove your bumper. It won't take long & once you have the headlight out, the thing'll prolly just fall out... If it doesn't, look up Blacktibs' "Angel Eye" DIY so you can see how to open up the headlights.

didn't know it was proven. i do know that it's pretty dang difficult to bend those clips though. Paperclips are very easy to bend. Listen to redz. thick paperclip
