I don't know about the rear bushings. My car has not had any bushings replaced in over 170,000 kms. Are you sure it wasn't the rear wheel bearings? The original wheel bearings are not great and often need to be replaced.

If you like the car and think it seems to be a good one make them an offer. Use the flaws you have found as a reason to lower the price. Have them fix anything they were going to but there are some things that they will have to fix to certify it for sale. I would think the drivers seat is one of them. It would be dangerous to sell a car with a drivers seat that is broken.

I'm going to test drive it again, and bring it to my mechanic, see what he has to say, and then we'll see. Thanks for all the help.

Took it for a drive, brought it to my mechanic... Needs a new link in the front left arm, rear sway bar bushings (mentioned earlier), and new tires all around. Other than that, he said for the price it was a good buy, has new bearings, new clutch... muffler is shitty though, hack job, that'll be one of the first things i replace. shitty weld job, and too small.

Anyways, he was asking 8000 with two new tires, i brought him the inspection sheet, got it for 7500 with 4 new tires. I made a big deal about him putting the cheapest tires he could find on it, so he promises good tires. I'll go to the wrecking yard monday to see if I can find a seat for it, or if i'll just get some aftermarkets.

Anyways, for the help, i'll be on here alot in the next few weeks.
