<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (trancedmp3)</div><div class='quotemain'>I'm in Tampa, Florida.

I'm interested in those subs blacktib, How much do you think it will cost to get a sound store to wire it all up? I hear audiobahns will sound better and there offering them (3) on ebay for 180 plus shipping, so im not sure yet, they don't come with an amp of course.</div>

Tampa Bay really?
HILLSBOROUGH FOR LIFE! I grew up in that county on Hanley Road. Oh man, good times. Is that huge ice cream cone (it's an ice cream store in the shape of an ice cream cone) still on Hanely and Waters Ave. i think it was? If you have no idea what I'm talking about then forget it...

Did you get Yuri's tib off of eBay?
What was the winning bid if you don't mind telling?
What kit is that on the car?

Audibahns are not the only subs that will sound good in your car (although eBay like to think so).

Wiring won't be too expensive. If you want we could help you with the installation to save you a few bucks. First familiarize yourself with the interior of your car, know how to take apart the center console and radio faceplate...etc.

Thanks, Ill talk to you guys about wiring when I get to it. Do you think those 2 xplod subs will sound as good or worse then http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5758551564&rd=1?

I bought the the car for $9300, I don't know what kit ;(

Other than the subs, and amp what will I need? I know a cap, but will I need anything else special? Will a stock faceplate work? Thanks again guys.

TWISTEE TREAT! YEAH! I lived in those apartment across the street. I miss Florida 02.gif and Ybor city ......02.gif

I would not recommend stock faceplate, it won't power speakers to full potential. Get an aftermarket one, regular Alpine model (without flip face or anything special) will run 100-150. PLus wiring installation, but HU wiring is very easy. Just gotta do research to find out what wire goes where. Many come with instructions...

Ok I checked out ebay. Would something like this work?

Those XPLOD subs that blacktib is selling, with his amp, and..

This cap http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5760076032&rd=1

its 20 Farad.. Do I need that much or will 4 farad work?

and with this faceplate

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5757072207&rd=1

and quality wise what should sound better? The 2 xplod's in the ported box or these three audiobahns in a sealed box?

I looked through that to find dimensions but couldn't find any. I would highly recommend asking them for width dimensions and then going to measure your trunk before buying.

Would that fit a 98 tib trunk?

Im thinking yes, but the main question I have is should I expect those 2 ported XPLOD subs to sound the same quality as those 3 audiobahns?
